Mama’s Classic Margaritas is about the best margarita recipe there is on the planet.  And it is our pleasure to share it with you!

This origins of the recipe come from a dear friend of ours, Vivian, who is Australian, who was performing in the show Cats with me (Kris) in Hamburg, Germany back in the 90s.

Sadly, Viv lost a courageous battle with breast cancer in the mid 2000’s, but we think of her often and every time we whip up a batch of the Mama’s Margaritas, we toast the heavens above us and can feel her smiling down on us.

LET’S MAKE THE PERFECT CLASSIC MARGARITA!

When the sun is shining and the grill is heating up, why not make a batch of these incredible Mama’s Classic Margaritas?

Sit back, watch, laugh…and see how easy it is to make the perfect margarita on the rocks.

Now, don’t worry. We’ve tested and tweaked many, many margarita recipes over the years, and we always go back to this recipe. It’s the perfect mix of sweet, sour, tang and tequila. Nothing overpowers, it’s just so tasty.

We can honestly say this is as good as any Tex-Mex restaurant version we’ve ever tried…with the exception of Joe T. Garcias in Fort Worth, Texas. They have the best margarita in the world, but we do feel that this recipe comes real close to that amazing concoction down in good ole Cowtown.

THE ROMANTIC HISTORY OF THE CLASSIC MARGARITA

As you would imagine, the history of the margarita is a little murky, romantic and full of legendary tales.

Oh, how many good times have there been by friends, families and Mexican-food lovers around the world sipping on this delicious thing called a margarita.

This Mama’s Margaritas recipe is about as good as they come. And easy to prepare.

One sip and you’ll be feeling like Jimmy Buffet sitting on the dock of the bay down Mexico way…and if not, you’ll just really like this Mama’s Classic Margaritas recipe!
